To Paint a Dream

I decided it was time to redesign my blog for 2013.And as you can see I also changed the name to "To Paint a Dream" which was the original name of my blog, (its also the blog address). My Header photo is kinda vintage, I was going for the Alice in Wonderland look, sorta dreamy like. Anyway way I hope you like it!

2013 Beginnings

It has been a week from the first day of 2013, and already a lot has changed. I finally got a job at the Humane Society that my family and I used to volunteer at. I've been wanting to pursue becoming a Vet Tech, so working there is kind of a dream come true! My first day was the Wednesday (the 2nd) of this week, and so far I am loving it! It helps that I already know most of the people there, and what to do. I love being able to help animals and do the work it takes to do so, and help make life easier for my co-workers. But not only am I doing what I love, it will also open doors for other dreams to come true, and for me to invest in others also.

I hope your first week of 2013 has been as amazing as mine, and will continue to be!

Sweet Sixteen

On November 30th, I turned sixteen, yes sixteen, It seems only a year ago I was nine playing with my friends in the backyard of the house I still live in to this day. On this day, nothing changed, people always ask "how does it feel to be sixteen?"It seems life remains the same for me. Yes I'm sure things will change in this year as I am able to do many more things at this age, such as get a job, learn to drive and so on. But I do hope I will not change much, I will always remain Sarah Johnson aka Happy Mouse, Fred, Sej...and the nick names go on. The girl with curly brown hair, bow-legged walk, and big green eyes.
Now back to my birthday, what did I do? Well, I had cheese cake at the cheese cake factory with my mom and dad then went shopping, I didn't get much, because I'm saving up for a new keyboard, a Cello, a horse...Lots of things you cant really just get on your birthday. But I had a wonderful time anyway. And I think that's all. :)
Cheers,
Sarah Emily

Coffee

I was doing my normal roundabouts on the blogger world and was on my sissy, Anna's blog http://simplyafj.blogspot.com/, when I saw the pic of me and her on the couch drinking coffee, and I just thought it was sweet :) The photo was actually taken by Callah, our little sister. :)

Life Without WiFi

So, I haven't posted on my for a while, my bad :(  A lot has been going on in my part of the world lately. We have moved to my grand mothers house and we don't have any wifi...yeah, your probably wondering how I live! Well, we have been going to McDonalds for wifi and getting ice cream cones, so its not too bad. That is why things are slow on my blog. :) But I have been able to catch up on stories I am working on, and we have been watching movies, like Tron and Inception.
Life is going slow in the knew place but its going. Our dog, Mattie, has a broken leg and roaches still crawl around the kitchen, but other than that, things are good.   ;)

Guest Post: Sarah's Brand

The other day I had the idea of doing a little branding experiment. I have been struggling with it myself, so I asked my besties for a little assistance. We are making a brand of each other. The way we see each other. I thought it would be interesting to see what others think of my brand. Here is my perspective on Sarah's brand. Let me just say that first photo is 100% Sarah. She not only looks like that, she sometimes makes that face, and the whole everything of the picture is just HER. The second photo is because she is a painter. DUH. The last photo is because of how she likes to figure things out, and put broken things back together. She likes figuring out stuff. So, whatcha think?
All these photos were taken from her brand board on Pinterest.
Love you Sarah! Hope I got this right ;)

Thanks so much Morgan! And yes, I think you pretty well nailed ME :) Of coarse there is only so much you can show in three pens, but these are definitely ones that really stand out as my brand.
Please visit Morgans blog here: http://morgscolors.blogspot.com/ And see what pins I have chosen for her BRAND :) Thanks!
